Payson Temple Open House

 dad's a certified PMP!

One day in January Tony was at the computer and asked me if I thought he should quick sign up for a PMP (Project Management Professional) course.  I asked him more about it and he said that it was on his goal list of things to do so I told him to go for it!  His EMBA was still 6 months away so this was a great time to squeeze it in.  He attended weekend classes (much like his current school schedule now) for a couple months, studied hard and passed the exam!  He took the test the day we had our Payson temple open house tickets.  The boys waited for him on our front porch and were shouting, "you did it dad!  You did it!"

Sappy moment, but I'm so proud of Tony and the example he is to our boys.  He sets high goals for himself and is dedicated to reaching all of them.  It's not about being smart, but being hardworking.  I hope our boys look to their dad's example as they grow.  Sappy moment over.

We hurried to get in our church clothes and headed to the temple!

I was really excited for the boys to go in the temple.  They've watched us go and have asked a few questions now and then.  I was excited for them to see inside and get a better idea of what a temple is.  I would say the highlight of the temple was walking through the celestial room.  Peter's neck was tipped all the way back as he stared at the chandeliers.  It was beautiful, clean and I squeezed the boys hands 3 times ("I love you") as we walked through.

I'm grateful for the blessings the temple brings to our family!
