Mom

My mom came a day and a half before Joey was born.  She stayed for a full week!  We had such a great time together.  Before I went into the hospital, we did some serious shopping, went out to lunch and just had fun spending time together.  I wish this was something we could do more often!

While we were in the hospital she entertained Charlie.  Like I said previously, I don't think Charlie missed us one bit.  Grandma is way too much fun!  She had more than enough energy to keep up with Charlie and believe me--that isn't easy!

For a week she scrubbed baby poop out of clothes and blankets, cooked, cleaned and even let me take naps everyday!  She made life so easy!  

We all went through with drawls after she left.  I was devastated and I think Charlie was confused as to where his buddy for the last week had gone.  We miss her so much!  I'm positive my dad and siblings were counting down the days until she was back.
