Four Posts In One

I haven't posted forever because I kept forgetting to put the pictures from Tony's phone onto my computer. I finally remembered last night so here are some of the highlights from the past month!
Utah Trip:
I went to Utah to visit my family and go to Women's Conference with my mom. I had such a fun trip. It was so great to spend time with my family. I miss living so close!
Me and part of my family at the airport
My sisters are hoping to come visit for a week this summer. I really hope they can!
Thanks mom and dad for letting me come! Love you :)

One Year Anniversary:
I was in Utah for a week and then flew into the Tulsa airport on May 2...the day of our wedding anniversary! One year has flown by! Tony picked me up and I was so, so, so excited to see him!
We stayed in Tulsa that weekend to celebrate.
That night we ate dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Neither of us had been there before but we LOVED it!
After dinner, we ordered cheesecake to take back to the hotel with us. It was seriously the best cheesecake we have ever had! Too bad it's an hour and a half away from our home...but maybe that's a good thing.
The next day we visited Tulsa's aquarium. We've been wanting to make a trip here for a while so we were really excited to go! We pet stingrays and sharks and saw some crazy animals. They had quite a few fun exhibits. My favorite was the shark exhibit and Tony's favorite was seeing the otters.

I hope you can see us in this picture! I always forget to get pictures of us together. When I finally remembered to ask someone to take a picture of us, we were in the darkest area (of course). This is our only picture together so I have to post it!
It was such a great weekend.
Hanging out:
I just finished reading Angels and Demons so yesterday we had to go see the movie. If anyone has read the book, I'm curious what you thought of the movie.
Afterwards we went to coldstone...
(here's Tony modeling his ice cream)
Besides doing random things around here it hasn't been too eventful. We're looking forward to more sunny weather and Tony's parents to visiting over memorial day weekend. We can't wait to see them! We'll be showing them around town and visiting Branson, Missouri. We have tickets to a chinese acrobat show and I can't wait to go!

Prego:
We finally remembered to take a belly shot! So my plan was to take a picture before I was showing but everyday I kept putting it off. Then I just popped out so I guess I won't have a before and after photo! Now I'm not positive what the exact day is when I change from one week to the next ( I'm pretty sure my ticker (off to the side) is a little fast) but this is at the end of 16 weeks!
I'm at that awkward stage where depending on what I'm wearing I either look pregnant or fat. I'm starting to wear some of my maternity clothes now which is very exciting.
We find out the sex of the baby on June 4th. We are so excited! This whole time I've been thinking it's a boy, I still do, but I'm not as positive as I was before. I think whatever the doctor tells us will be shocking. It's just so crazy!

Anyways, that's what we have been up to!

Update

Tomorrow I am flying to Utah to visit my family and to go to Women's Conference with my mom and aunt. I'm so excited to see my family, mountains, cafe rio, shade clothing and stores like Deseret Book and the Distribution Center. Tony is staying here working and I keep crying when I think of leaving him for a week. He's working on a big project at work and needs to stay here. I wish jobs were like school in that everyone stays home for the summer, sigh...

A little pregnancy update: I swear my stomach is starting to grow now. The last couple of days I keep looking in the mirror asking Tony, "ok if my stomach was this big before just don't say anything BUT does my stomach look bigger today?"

I'm finally feeling like myself again. No more nausea (unless I haven't eaten for a while), vommiting, irritibility, random fits of crying, etc. It's like the day I hit 12 weeks I just snapped out of it. I don't know who's happier--me or Tony? I think we're both relieved haha. I'm going to the gym again and getting so much more done. It's wonderful.

I love my little side ticker because I keep track of how far along I am and see how many hours until delivery. Even though I want the baby to come, I'm scared of delivery and I like seeing that it is 4, 488 hours away. 27 weeks away seems really close but 4,488 hours seems like forever away. I like seeing both numbers next to each other.

The next post will either be from Utah or after Utah! I hope the weather is as nice as it is here!

Birthday and BIG news!

It has been a busy and happy time over the last month or so. I haven't posted for a while because I've been trying to keep my lips sealed! So...for our big news....
WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!
Yep, it's true. We're 12 weeks along and are so thrilled! We had our first ultrasound last month and yesterday we had our second appointment and heard the baby's heartbeat. It was such a neat experience. Our due date is Oct. 29 and I can't decide if that feels like forever away or very close.
We haven't heard when my brother Brian comes home from his mission yet, but he left November 14th two years ago, so his homecoming and the baby being born will be really close! It will be a busy month for my parents!

Yesterday was Tony's 25th birthday! He took the afternoon off work so he could come to the doctor's appointment with me and then we went out to lunch for his big day.(isn't he cute?)
He wanted to go all out and have lobster for his birthday so that's what we did!
After lunch he went back to work for a few hours and I got things ready for the rest of that night. We had a special dinner and dessert and Tony opened up his presents.
Tony is the best husband and I'm so lucky to have him in my life!
It's just a really great time for us right now!

Create

My friend had this on her blog and I just loved it. This was such a great talk given by Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf. It made me think about different goals and talents that I have along with some I want to acquire. Now I just need to write down my goals so I don't forget about them! It's so easy to have lots of things you want to do but always think of those as something you'll do or figure out in the future (at least that's how I am). Even if it's just something I'm putting together, cooking, etc--I feel so proud of whatever it is that I did, even if it's small. This really inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and learn some new things and get better at the things I do now. Hope you like it!

My First Cake!

I'm taking a cake decorating class and today was the second class so far. We made our first cakes and I had so much fun. I was covered in frosting by the end but it was a blast. Yeah it's a little sloppy but I'm so proud of it!

Such A Beautiful Day!

I am LOVING today! Right now I am sitting on my porch enjoying the gorgeous weather! It is 73 degrees ( supposed to be up to 77 this afternoon) and is definitely a pick me up after a long week. This morning I checked the mail, watched the cows in the field next to our home and have been sitting outside reading Les Miserables. Something about good weather just puts me in a happy mood!
