Isn't Peter tough? He joined us on our hike
The best advice we have received was from our first home teacher, and good friend, back in Arkansas. The first time we met he asked, "are you guys dating?" Which I thought was a pretty bold question since he didn't know us! We became friends and his family often watched Charlie so we could go out on dates. It created a great habit and strength to our marriage. One of our goals for this year is to date, once a month, with a babysitter. I look forward to these dates so much!
One weird and kinda cool thing about living in Utah is we don't live far from where we met! We decided to go back to P town and celebrate our anniversary there. We hiked the Y and tried out Waffle Love afterwards. A few thoughts: the Y is a straight shoot up the mountain. When we got out of the car we both were saying maybe we should have just dressed up and gone out to dinner somewhere fancy? But no, this was more fun and something different! It felt great to make it to the top and see the entire valley!
Second thought, this waffle was probably the best thing I have ever eaten. Whatever dough they use is amazing, biscoff spread, fresh cream, berries...it's probably a good thing this wasn't around when we lived in Provo!
It was a great night to talk about the past and what we hope for the future.

Happy 6 years! Isn't it crazy it's already been that long? I LOVE waffle love. They're real Belgium waffles and they are amazing. I still need to take Micah to try them. It sounded like you had a great anniversary!
It was so fun to catch up on all your recent posts! What a supermom you are, Meg! I sure look up to you! Glad Utah is treating you well!
