Dessert at the Temple

I still can't believe we live so close to so many temples!  We can even see the Mt. Timpanogas temple from our bedroom windows.  One Sunday we brought some dessert to eat on the temple grounds.

We briefly talked about the temple and why we go inside.  I hope they know we believe the temple is important!  I'm always surprised by the little things Charlie will remember.  He still talks about the times we would "drive a really long time and have a picnic at the temple" (our trips to the OKC temple over a year ago).  I miss how our temple trips were a family affair back then.  Maybe dessert night at the temple will need to become a family tradition?

We had fun sitting on a blanket and watching the boys run along the long strip of grass. Now that we're in the warmer weather months, we'll have to go back again soon!
