Over the weekend we crossed something off our live list and went hiking at Tanyard Creek. It's something we haven't done in a long time and with the warm weather it was perfect. It's a great place to take young kids because it's an easy hike with lots of shade. Plus there's a waterfall and lots of shallow water to play in!

We sat watching the fish until Charlie was dying to get in. At first it was just he and I, but then Joey was hysterically upset to be left out. We all ended up in the water together. Good thing I brought a towel and extra diapers just in case. I should have also packed our swimsuits and floaties--the boys were fearless!

After lunch we explored some more. Charlie found some cool caves and said he wanted to have them be his new home. Unfortunately for him, he has to live at our house until he's 18 :)
We're looking forward to being outdoors more this summer! Well, until it gets miserably hot and we hide inside!

That looks like such a fun hike! I wish I would have known about that place before we moved :) Your boys are getting so big! And so cute. Miss you guys.
