We started the 4th of July weekend off with water toys, a picnic in the backyard & fireworks in the driveway.
I love this time in our family. We're not driving to and from soccer games or cub scouts--every night it's just us spending time together. I'm sure we'll be enjoying other things the older our kids get, but for now, I love the slow pace.
Tony took Charlie shopping for fireworks that night. They came home with all sorts of things! Charlie enjoyed the show, especially the little poppers and the flowers (because they didn't make a scary sound when they went off).
It was a late night but we had a good time!

Your kids are so cute!!! I loved the video and Joey is so precious! Does he kind of look like Brian when he was a baby? Congratulations again!!!
