It feels like it has been a long week at our house. Charlie got his first ear infection and it has not been fun! I feel bad for those sweet little babies that get them over and over. How miserable! Charlie was not a happy camper. Luckily we caught it early and so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.
We spent a lot of time indoors since Charlie wasn't feeling well. He's getting to that age where you can see his imagination when he plays and it's so fun!
One afternoon we brought his stuffed animals into the family room to watch a movie with us. We sat them at his little table and Charlie fed them breakfast. He would put his spoon up to each animal's mouth and make a smacking noise with his own lips to imitate them eating. It was so funny! We ended up feeding them all three meals that day. He loved it.
After "breakfast" the animals took a nap. I thought I would take advantage of this and rest on the couch since it was nap time after all :)
Charlie assumed I was asleep and started his own game of piling stuff in the corner. He likes to push everything into one spot and then crawl around in it while making his own sound effects of "ugh! ow!" and other grunts. I don't know what's going on in his mind but it is funny to watch!
Two weeks ago we got rid of the pacifiers, then the ear infection/fevers hit. We're finally catching up on the sleep we've missed out on and getting back to normal.

I'm so glad the ear infection is over!
Oh, poor kid with the ear infections! It's so fun to see how creative they get though as they get older!
