This season our whole family signed up for classes at the gym. Classes started this week.
Charlie is in a mommy and me type swimming class once a week-- too cute. We sing a bunch of songs, chase after balls, learn how to kick and move our arms in the water and blow bubbles. Charlie is still very serious when he gets in swimming pools, but I can tell he liked it. The teacher said she allows both parents to be in the water so Tony will get in with us next time.
Tony was figuring out the camera until a lifeguard told him pictures were not allowed. Another parent was taking pictures and when Tony passed the info on they pretended they didn't speak English...maybe they didn't but they seemed to understand when the lifeguard informed them as well :)

Tony and I started our indoor cycling (spinning) class Monday. It's twice a week and a fun little date for us. Can I just say I feel as if someone took a sledge hammer and hit me in between the legs? Ouch! I'm not used to balancing my weight on those hard tiny seats! I hear it takes a few times before you get used to those seats. It was a great work out and we had fun pedaling beside each other. Yes we're probably that mushy couple at the gym, but at least we're not in matching outfits or anything!

Spin classes are rough! I stopped taking those and now I just do Yoga. Good for you! And that swim class... so so adorable.
I think Taylor and I will do matching outfits for our next class! We are definitely not the mushy couple in class--I think I was laughing at him the whole time. Poor Taylor. But I agree, its such a fun date for us! And I like having multiple dates a week :)

once..and I could'nt get over my crotch bones feeling like I just gave birth so I never went back! lol. Guess i should try again.
Yep I LOVE spin! I do it 3-4 times a week. I've found it's the best workout for me. One time, I burned 900 calories in one class. Yay-totally worth it! Have fun!

what's wrong with matching outfits?! :) i say GO for it!
and here's the thing, the thought of how much extra hiney i would have hanging over that tiny hard seat has stopped me from attending a spin class every time i was tempted. which was only once.
