Over the Fourth of July weekend, we bought Charlie a little pool for the backyard. I swear it has been overcast ever since then! Overcast and muggy :( We haven't used it since...until today!
This morning it was FINALLY bright and sunny, so during Charlie's morning nap I got out the pool and filled it up. Once he was awake, it was overcast again, but we were going in that pool no matter what. I was not about to bring in the chairs, dump out the water and put that pool away.
Charlie had a great time. He loves to splash and crawl around the edge of the pool.
He's getting so big! Did you know he is going to be 9 months old next week? I can't believe it.
The two of us are making a trip to Utah to visit my family next week. We are going to miss Tony so much, but I am so excited to see my family and friends there!
Any suggestions on how to make a smooth flight with a 9 month old?

Call Camille -- Jaden has done quite a bit of traveling and it's all been pretty smooth. My bro/sister-in-law and nephew have flown quite a bit as well, but they aren't sure what they've done to make it smooth -- Callan is just good when traveling! :) It would be fun to meet Charlie while you're out!

is charlie blond?!?! his hair keeps looking lighter and lighter the older he gets...i can't believe how fast that time has gone!
good luck traveling! i've been noticing babies on planes a lot lately :) and all i can say is don't be embarrassed if he makes a little noise. he is a baby, after all... i think people are generally pretty forgiving, don't worry!
