We had a great Valentine's day! We woke up and had delicious crepes--complete with whipped cream, chocolate, strawberries and bananas, so good!

If you watch the news, you've probably heard about Walmart home office employees being laid off. We feel very blessed that Tony was not affected and that we can stay here in northwest Arkansas.
That being said, you can imagine how hard it is to find a job in our area. For the time being, I'm keeping busy by doing lots of window shopping, cleaning, working out, etc.
Exciting news: I signed up for a cake decorating class for March. I'm REALLY excited and can't wait for it to start.
Also, I found another new hobby...
I was looking through the gym's schedule and saw that they have a water aerobics class! Awesome! I have had so much fun!
No, water aerobics is not like this...

However, this looks like fun to me!The class is a great workout. It's fun to do something a little different. It's just a bunch of chit-chatty ladies working out in the water together. It's a blast!
I'm so excited it's finally the weekend! We're taking a little day trip to Eureka Springs tomorrow and I can't wait!

i'm glad you had a great valentine's day. i'm glad you took advantage of your "no kid" status and went OUT to dinner. that gets a little harder to do later on the down the road!
i had to laugh because i used to teach the water aerobics class and it looked EXACTLY like that photo! ok, except w/o all the hand holding. but there wasn't anyone younger than 70 in any of my classes. :) i'm glad you found something fun to do in your spare time. :) milk it while you can!

I am so glad Tony wasn't affected by the lay off's... such a blessing.
I have to say, my sis got me into water aerobics and I laughed at it the first time I went thinking it was just bouncing and skipping around in the water (not thinking I was getting a work out) then I woke up the next morning and couldn't move I was sooooo sore!
It's a great work out and not for sissies! I hope you love it too, so much fun!
