Update

Tomorrow I am flying to Utah to visit my family and to go to Women's Conference with my mom and aunt. I'm so excited to see my family, mountains, cafe rio, shade clothing and stores like Deseret Book and the Distribution Center. Tony is staying here working and I keep crying when I think of leaving him for a week. He's working on a big project at work and needs to stay here. I wish jobs were like school in that everyone stays home for the summer, sigh...

A little pregnancy update: I swear my stomach is starting to grow now. The last couple of days I keep looking in the mirror asking Tony, "ok if my stomach was this big before just don't say anything BUT does my stomach look bigger today?"

I'm finally feeling like myself again. No more nausea (unless I haven't eaten for a while), vommiting, irritibility, random fits of crying, etc. It's like the day I hit 12 weeks I just snapped out of it. I don't know who's happier--me or Tony? I think we're both relieved haha. I'm going to the gym again and getting so much more done. It's wonderful.

I love my little side ticker because I keep track of how far along I am and see how many hours until delivery. Even though I want the baby to come, I'm scared of delivery and I like seeing that it is 4, 488 hours away. 27 weeks away seems really close but 4,488 hours seems like forever away. I like seeing both numbers next to each other.

The next post will either be from Utah or after Utah! I hope the weather is as nice as it is here!

Birthday and BIG news!

It has been a busy and happy time over the last month or so. I haven't posted for a while because I've been trying to keep my lips sealed! So...for our big news....
WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!
Yep, it's true. We're 12 weeks along and are so thrilled! We had our first ultrasound last month and yesterday we had our second appointment and heard the baby's heartbeat. It was such a neat experience. Our due date is Oct. 29 and I can't decide if that feels like forever away or very close.
We haven't heard when my brother Brian comes home from his mission yet, but he left November 14th two years ago, so his homecoming and the baby being born will be really close! It will be a busy month for my parents!

Yesterday was Tony's 25th birthday! He took the afternoon off work so he could come to the doctor's appointment with me and then we went out to lunch for his big day.(isn't he cute?)
He wanted to go all out and have lobster for his birthday so that's what we did!
After lunch he went back to work for a few hours and I got things ready for the rest of that night. We had a special dinner and dessert and Tony opened up his presents.
Tony is the best husband and I'm so lucky to have him in my life!
It's just a really great time for us right now!

Create

My friend had this on her blog and I just loved it. This was such a great talk given by Elder Dieter F. Uchtdorf. It made me think about different goals and talents that I have along with some I want to acquire. Now I just need to write down my goals so I don't forget about them! It's so easy to have lots of things you want to do but always think of those as something you'll do or figure out in the future (at least that's how I am). Even if it's just something I'm putting together, cooking, etc--I feel so proud of whatever it is that I did, even if it's small. This really inspired me to get out of my comfort zone and learn some new things and get better at the things I do now. Hope you like it!
